The restaurant has changed owner and the area ha... read more Me and my daughter walks by several times a week when taking a stroll on the beautiful " chemin des douaniers". The restaurant has changed owner and the area has been cleaned up, and the furniture has been changed. Unfortunately with a taste that is terrible, at least for being a restaurant. Its so pink that your eyes hurt.There is absolutely nothing inviting with this restaurant. The tables are left as they stood last time they were used (probably many weeks ago), they are not laid and everything looks completely deserted, except perhaps for the owner who sits with his back to the entrance and looks at an big TV screen on the wall or reads a paper. Obviously he has given up hope that anyone will visit his restaurant.We have long thought about visiting Caponga, but every time we come close, we change our mind. Its really a pity as the location is so nice.Hopefully will this restaurant change owner soon and someone who knows his profession will take over. Someone who knows that a restaurant shall be inviting, have nice people servicing and serve good food at reasonable prices.

The menus are not too expensive and offer a good choice but don't expect haute cusine.
