Warm welcomes, great staff, amazing and well-priced drinks! No wonder this place is a spot for locals and travelers! My mom got the Greek breakfast, my father the biscuits and gravy and I got the chicken and waffles with ROSEMARY SYRUP. oh-em-geeeeeee that syrup was so good I think I'm going to start infusing my syrup with it at home! Seriously, what a great idea! Needless to say, we all devoured our delicious meals and my mom and I usually don't finish it but the lamb in her omelette was juicy and crispy that just perfected the omelette. Good chunks of meat in the gravy and a lovely, and not dry, biscuit underneath for my dads meal. I highly suggest coming here if you're in the area looking for a great breakfast with a hometown feel and an overall great experience. Look no further than MelRose! And you won't be disappointed!

We had some basic breakfast dishes like biscuits and gravy, the Melrose skillet with ham and other toppings and an egg dish with bacon toast etc. Everyone loved their dishes, the bacon is sooo delicious! So is the tomato juice. I also ordered a cup of chicken dumpling soup, that was great too. I'm pretty sure the OJ is freshly squeezed, quite tasty. When I come back into town I will definitely stop back in.
