Gone out of business and never notified Open Table.
I made a reservation through open table and when we arrived at the restaurant there was a sign on the door saying it was closed June _____. No reopen date. Not a good sign for this restaurant. I wish there was some way open table was notified when a restaurant was closed, i.e. for vacation, remodeling, permanently. It was very aggravating going to a restaurant and then when arriving it was closed.
We have been wanting to try Bon Gusto for awhile now, and were very glad we did. Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner Thiago very graciously. We were led into a very classy dining room with amazing crystal chandeliers to a romantic booth and couldn't wait to order. We shared a very nice bottle of Pinot Noir, which was needed after a long week of work. The appetizers and entrees came out in good timing, perfectly presented and simply amazing. The service was outstanding from the minute we walked in to when we left. We were very impressed with this establishment and will definitely return very soon with friends. Thank you Thiago and staff for a wonderful night! See you soon.
Delicious Italian fare in a homey environment. Great service even when assign for substitutions and alternatives from the menu.
At pm, we were the only ones there until pm. Very lonesome. Also the food was too expensive, for what they offered. The service was good as they had nothing else to do. We did not enjoy it at all. The whole restaurant needed decorating, as well as a new menus.
In a recent dining experience at a local Italian restaurant, patrons faced disappointing service and subpar cuisine. Dishes like minestrone and Involtini Capricciosi fell flat, lacking flavor and quality, with service woefully inadequate due to a single overburdened waiter. Compounding frustrations, some guests arrived to find the restaurant unexpectedly closed without notice. Although the new ownership showed promise with a friendly demeanor, the staff struggled with the menu, leading to further dissatisfaction. Burnt dishes and long waits left customers longing for improvement, but many were left questioning whether they would return. Overall, the restaurant is in dire need of refinement.
