Description

Nestled in a Flushing food‑court near SkyMall/New World Mall, this spot serves authentic Shanghainese dim sum, zongzi, ci fan gao, dumplings, wontons and lion's-head meatballs that transport many diners back to Shanghai. Food is often praised as hot, flavorful and available frozen to-go; service can be friendly and accommodating. However, critics note small portions, high prices, occasional cold servings and reports of pushy or inconsistent staff. Best for dumpling lovers and takeout seekers seeking authentic flavors in a casual, communal setting.

The pan-fried buns were decent, but they could have been crispier on the bottom.

The food was incredibly tasty and served hot, even though it was late. They didn't have part of my order, but they called me and provided a satisfactory substitute. The staff there are truly wonderful!

Incredible! I love everything they prepare! As a Shanghainese living in New York, their dim sum truly alleviates my homesickness. I just had their Zong Zi today, and it was fantastic!

Food Court located over near the Skymall looks to be owned by the same people that run the other large food court under the New World Mall because of the same layout and tables. Food stalls all around the edges and seating in the center. A small parking lot that's free, but can be troublesome to get your car out in busy times. Lock down seating first if you arrive near lunch. It's a pain to pull around a bunch of family and dishes in your hand otherwise. Szechuan, Lan Zhou, Taiwanese, and other selections are here feels a little less diverse than the other food court in Flushing just out of size, but all the basics are there. They could have a better bubble tea shop, though. This place is good for take out and they can take a bit of getting used to on the different stalls. Lots of pictures help. Fast food a la carte, and it's pretty good. Bathrooms in the back.

I bought a box of fresh meat mooncakes and baked them at home. The two of us almost ate six of them in one go.
