Where else can you dine and have the owner personally check on you to ensure you're enjoying your meal? Absolutely the best.

I adore the delicious food, friendly staff, and amazing southern dishes they offer. The BBQ and chicken bog are outstanding, as well as the fried and BBQ chicken. I always make sure to grab a bag of Fatback before leaving. And let's not forget about their homemade pies, which are truly the best when they are available.

While I can't say it's always perfect, in all my visits over the years, I have never had a bad meal.

The staff is consistently friendly and even with takeout orders, you get generous portions that are difficult to finish. The vinegar-based BBQ sauce is delicious. I have been dining at this restaurant for years and will continue to do so as long as they are open. In the 16 years that I have been enjoying their food, I have never had any complaints.
