The... read more This is a fantastic motel and bar/restaurant to visit if you're traveling through the area. It's an ideal stop for bikers heading to Glacier National Park. The staff is excellent, the food is tasty, the beer is great, and the prices are reasonable.

However, we booked our stay on a day when the temperature reached 99 degrees, and unfortunately, our room had no air conditioning. Upon checking in, we turned both fans on full blast, but it remained unbearably hot in the motel room until 1 AM. It was hotter than one could imagine—almost boiling! We even had the window open to try to cool things down, but it was still uncomfortable. Rooms: far too hot.

Our lake house is right down the road from the hitching Post and we love eating here.Update from 6/12/24.The special for the day was “Grilled cheese sandwich with jalapeño poppers and bacon”.It’s off the chart good! Keep serving this please!!Our waitress was Kalea and she was not only amazing but helpful as well.Thank you all at Hilltop!
