What Tanushri Sharma doesn't like about Delhi Palace Cuisine Of India:
I found that rice is not included with any curry dishes, which was disappointing. The staff was not friendly, and I noticed something strange when placing my order: they would ask if I wanted onions on the side, but then the onions were reflected as a charge on my bill. Overall, the experience was odd. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100. View all feedback.
The decor is pleasant, but that's about all this place has going for it. The food is quite disappointing. The butter chicken tastes artificial, lacks flavor, and the chicken isn't fresh. The gravy has no taste at all. The bhindi masala was passable, but the chicken biryani was a letdown—who adds nuts and coconut shavings to biryani? It tasted more like a pulao than anything else. The naan was good, but the buttermilk tasted more like diluted raita, and the mango lassi was excessively sweet. I suggest saving your money and either traveling to India or heading to Phoenix, where you can find much better Indian food.
This is one of the best Indian restaurants we ever tried. Give it a chance when you are in the area. We travel a lot and love Indian food. The service is great, very friendly people from Nepal. And the wine was also very good. Merlot red. Will see youagain!
The chicken biryani and mutton curry were just average, but the vegetable biryani was quite good. Other vegetarian dishes were excellent as well. The staff were friendly, although they were quite insistent about closing the restaurant on time. We traveled from another city and pleaded with them to keep the restaurant open a little longer so our family could eat there, but they refused. We arrived around 9:10 PM, and the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM, so I believe they could have made an exception to accommodate us. Instead, we had to take the food out and eat it outside.
The cuisine here is absolutely delicious and truly authentic. We enjoyed friendly service, and the restaurant's decor was lovely. The dishes were served in a family-style manner and were bursting with incredible flavors! You’ll definitely leave feeling happy and satisfied!
