An absolute oasis. Very nice internal courtyard with lots of comfortable seating and welcoming staff. Rooms themselves are small and quite dated. Beds very firm but comfortable. Bed linen getting a bit thin. Lighting dull but adequate. Didn’t try the TV. Shower tiny. Smallest I’ve had so far in Africa. Caulking all coming away and generally looking very tired in the bathroom. Shower rose flicker not working so no adjustment possible for different flow options. Water took more than 4 minutes to get warm. Bathroom basin blocked. No drinking water provided. Breakfast basic but fresh. Overall quite nice but I think the 5 star ratings are misleading.
