We have crossed the country several times, north and south and coast to the coast, and Down Under Restaurant is simply the best seafood we have ever eaten anywhere, bar none. The prices are reasonable, the portions are decent meal size, and the food is divinely delicious. Jordyn was our server, and she was phenomenally attentive, without being intrusive, or smiling. Oh, and Down Under's version of Moscow's Mule is To. For. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Overall, the service was good and the food ca... read more I would have given this place 5 stars if the fried pickles were crispier, I'm a fried pickle fanatic I must admit! Overall, the service was good and the food came out quickly. Large portion sizes perfect for sitting and staying a while or sharing fish and chips alone could feed two people. The fish tacos weren't authentic but still tasty. Both the regular and sweet potato fries are great with a soft interior and crisp outside. I'll definitely be back!

Maybe t... read more The wait was long and a little confusing-half the tables inside were empty and the tables outside seemed to be a mix of seat yourself vs sat by hostess. Maybe they are short on staff at the moment. The outside bar is super convenient so you can grabdrinks while waiting. Regardless, all the employees were very friendly and helpful. Once we were sat, service was quick and allthe food was very good. Portions were very big. All the seafood was fresh and had great flavor.

Both the st... read more This place is fantastic and their Happy Hour Menu is very cheap. It is on the intercostal and from its patio you can enjoy watching the boats go by. Both the staff and the food are very good. There is a very nice atmosphere, from families to groupsof friends. Honestly one of the best places on the island. 100% recommended.
