Just stopped here for lunch as our free walking tours recommended it. So glad we did. It's off the beaten track, so didn't feel touristy, and is done out in a traditional family feel. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed 3 small plates between the two of us and a desert each. All really tasty and not expensive. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the touristy restaurants. View all feedback.

A recommendation from our Airbnb hosts tucked away on a side street. Authentic and interesting Portuguese Tapas. Food fine but the service unfriendly……you book a table at 6.30pm for 7pm and given a card to ring if you are going to be late). After having many different fast foods in Algarve Forum 'Shopping ' we tried Bifanas de Vendas Novas. Well, for a bifana, caldo verde (green soup) and a beer. Price is great, food is even better

What a charming restaurant. It is a Very small and cozy. Food made where you can see chef. The food was amazing. Well priced.
