We thought it was a tiny general store with post office but walk inside and it opens like the tardis - to find great food and coffee and wall to wall books all for sale!

We enjoyed breakfast here over the weekend while we were staying nearby. A friend had recommended The Exeter General Store as a great place to go and we were not disappointed. The cafe has a lovely friendly vibe and the food and coffee were excellent. We visited on a Saturday but were told that Sundays are even busier so maybe book ahead to avoid disappointment.A word of warning though, watch your speed on the road outside, we were entertained during breakfast by the local constabulary pulling up speeding drivers.

Stopped in on the way through because we heard the coffee was good. We were not disappointed, the coffee was amazing!! What a great little find.

As always a delicious breakfast and consistently delivers good service. If you're in the highlands definitely worth a visit.
