Texan Kitchen
Description
Tucked into a friendly neighborhood, this diner-style spot serves breakfast all day and lunch from 10:30, operating daily 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Expect homestyle, affordable plates—standouts include migas, fluffy biscuits with chunky sausage gravy, a tempting mushroom Swiss burger and scratch-made cookies. Service is enthusiastic and fast despite a small kitchen, and the snack-size portions suit lighter appetites. A beloved local hole-in-the-wall perfect for families, regulars and anyone after comfort food.

Very good food at a wallet-friendly price! Most of the customers are locals and it has a great vibe if you like those little hole-in-the-wall, small town places. I love that they have some snack size servings for those who don 't want the full plate but aren 't children.
This is definitely my favorite spot for breakfast. No matter what you order, it comes out tasting like it was made at home—only a bit better. The food doesn’t have that franchise flavor you get at places like IHOP. The staff is absolutely wonderful, and the atmosphere is delightful. From the servers to the chef, everyone genuinely cares about you as a customer, and that shows in both the food and the service. I highly recommend trying anything and everything for breakfast, and if you’re in the mood for lunch, the BLT is a must-try. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose here; you’re going to love both the food and the service. My family and I are regulars for all the reasons I mentioned. Go check them out, and I promise you won’t regret it!
We tried this place for the first time. It has a 'diner' feeling and serves breakfast all day (sweet! and lunch after 1030a. They are open daily 7a-3p. After the order it took about 15 or 20 minutes before we received our food, but they were up to 1 chef and our server was like The Flash, from table to table, filling drinks, orders, delivery of food, etc. The food was very good and her cookies looked like they were made by scratches. Try it at least once. We will come back
Ordered the Tiny Tim. Delicious. The biscuits were fluffy and soft and the sausage gravy had lots of chunks of sausage throughout it. I don't live close enough to be a regular, which is a crying shame. Service was fantastic. Waitress was polite.
