I cannot work out why this restaurant isn’t right at the top of the trip advisor list for Ely? If you haven’t been go!

The service, while very... read more I highly recommend 11A for lunch and drinks, despite the limited menu, the food was of excellent quality and the portions were generous. The service, while very attentive, was quite slow. We would have ordered more cocktails if it hadn't taken 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken and another 20 minutes to receive our drinks. However, the cocktails were very good. Unfortunately, the kitchen closed at 2:30 and we were unable to order from the dessert menu. I noticed another table enjoying afternoon tea at noon, which looked fantastic. It seems that 11A is missing out on an opportunity by closing the kitchen before most people would want to have tea. My suggestion is to keep the kitchen open as your food is excellent, just a bit slow. Despite this, we will definitely be returning.

Cocktails were delicious. Service was phenomenal (Johnny was our server and we wish we were rich so that we could tip him the millions he deserves). Atmosphere was fantastic. I genuinely cannot praise this place enough!

After rather a stressful day in the office, this amazing ‘Charcuterie’ board a cold bottle of white wine was just what I needed! I dined with my friend, who ordered the ‘pork’ board and wow, that looked just as amazing ! I was greedy and ordered a sharing board (didn’t finish it I may add) so there is plenty for just £15!!! The deserts were equally delicious, and just enough! The ‘boards’ are new to 11a and I can’t stress enough how delicious they were! I will return, and try some of the others! Credit to the staff tonight who were impeccably polite, the restaurant was spotless and Covid-Secure. Hope the photos will tempt you
