This restaurant is a part of California's history, and I'm thrilled to see it still around for us to experience.

I was quite disappointed that they don’t offer refills, and there were no signs to indicate this policy. They only provide a refill if you specifically ask for it. The most frustrating part was seeing a sign for Wienerschnitzel, but the place functions more like a fast-food hamburger joint. No refills were given. I ended up spending $50 for my family, and I won’t be coming back unless they change this policy. It’s too hot here; it’s about 110 degrees!

If you like Wien... read more This was my first time in the Hamburgerstand in El Centro, Ca. We drove through and there were a few cars, but it was definitely worth waiting. If you like Wienerschnitzel, you will like Hamburger stand because they have really delicious Hamburger options. I ate the regular cheeseburger and it was very delicious. I also had the fries because they were not very salty and they were crunchy. We had to wait for our food for a while after we had ordered, but I think the people before us ordered a lot. It was definitely worth waiting and I will return.
