Georgie’s is a cozy spot tucked into a small corner of the larger food court at West Edmonton Mall. Having just opened a few weeks ago, I heard from an employee about their unique, freshly delivered chai blend—definitely exciting! They use fresh ingredients and quality coffee and tea, so I was eager to try it once they were fully stocked. I started with a white chocolate mocha since the chai wasn’t available yet, and it took me back to my high school days when that was my go-to Starbucks drink. However, it was much sweeter than I expected—almost too sweet to finish, so I wouldn’t recommend it. On my second visit, I finally tried the iced chai, and it was fantastic. Compared to Remedy or Starbucks, Georgie’s chai packs a stronger, richer flavor. It’s a must-try for any chai enthusiast—I enjoyed every sip. Their London fog was quite similar to what you’d get at Second Cup, with no significant difference, which is fine since I like theirs as well. Overall, it’s a solid choice. I also tried a build-your-own breakfast sandwich with a buttermilk biscuit, turkey sausage, Swiss cheese, sriracha ketchup, plus egg, lettuce, and tomato. It was delicious—the sriracha ketchup added just the right kick without overpowering the flavors.
