Highly recommended by my sister, the place was really nice and the staffs were very friendly. The food was good, but the pressed salmon sushi was the star. It was absolutely creamy and delicious. We also got the Unagi and Udon, which was good. I ordered a screwdriver which tasted more like juice and less alcohol for 10 bucks. So there’s that, but overall really nice place. Must visit in white Ave.
We brought our dog so sat at the patio. The inside restaurant was almost full and vibe was really nice. Thought food is going to take a while to come out but to our surprise it cane out really quick. Cons for us are, ramen a little salty so we were really thirsty whole night but flavour was bomb. The pressed sushi was mostly rice so thats a bit disappointing.
Dorinku is one of my all time favourite restaurant’s. The pressed salmon sushi is very good and the carbonara udon, is probably my favourite dishes to try. The calamari and chicken skin was pretty good as well for appetizers. The employees are very welcoming and gives it that authentic Japan vibe when you walk in.Parking: Has a strip of parking, if its not busy its not bad parking
Dorinku is definitely a must visit for any food looking for decent Japanese fusion. So many great spins on classics. The Toro was amazing the beef tatak i was on point, we also had the Ramen salad which also fantastic but the price point was a little high. All around a great dining experience. Will be sure to return
We dropped in for lunch on a Saturday. The place was busy and no-one took our order for about ten minutes. We were just wondering if we should go somewhere else to eat when the waitress came over. After that, the experience was great, and the food was amazing! The chicken nanban was divine and the ebimayo was great. The ambience was nice, it was just like being in a Tokyo diner! We will be back here again for dinner. 5/5
