Great Malaysian restaurant. Friendly waitstaff, very varied menu, delicious fresh food. We will return. Chicken pan fried dumplings, shrimp and veggies with chili paste, sautéed veggies with garlic sesame chicken. The coconut rice was wonderful. We loved everything.

It's a guilty pleasure, Pad Thai, Thai Basil, curry puffs, I want to go back right now. As a low spice tolerant person I've always enjoyed my meal (let them know what you like, they're great).

Restaurant patron beware! This restaurant is dishonest, from food served to bill presented, it was not the same as it used to be years ago. We ordered roti canal, the curry that came with was watered down with no flavor at all. We were charged the price for roti murtabak but was served roti telur. We ordered side of chicken flavored rice, but they did not put the chicken flavor into our rice. We ordered Tom yum noodle soup with seafood, but we were charged extra even we ordered from their updated menu from the QR code. We were also charged more for beef add-on. Nothing was accurate from the food yo our final check. If you don’t ask them to fix the problems, you are being fooled by paying extra. I’ve never seen a restaurant THIS dishonest. If you like the food they served and don’t mind those hidden extra bucks here and there, good luck!

This New Jersey restaurant serves the best food. The dishes are delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend dining here.

This is my favorite restaurant in Marietta, Georgia. The service was friendly and our orders came out quickly. The food was delicious and I will definitely be returning. I will have a good night's sleep after this meal.

Nestled in New Jersey, this restaurant offers a unique blend of cozy ambiance and delectable Asian cuisine, particularly renowned for its authentic Thai flavors. Signature dishes such as drunken noodles and crispy Indian-style chicken receive high praise, appealing to both vegetarians and spice enthusiasts alike. However, recent reviews highlight a concerning decline in food quality and service, marked by inaccurate orders and slow responses from waitstaff. Despite these notable drawbacks, many patrons cherish the affordable, delicious meals and the option to bring their own drinks, making it a mixed bag for future diners seeking comfort and flavor.

My family has never walked out of a restaurant before, but we have never had such an unpleasant experience at a restaurant. We were seated fairly quickly, but it was a Wednesday so it wasn't too surprising. Our waiter asked if we wanted something and we requested four waters. When the waters arrived, we asked if they had lemon and the waiter quickly left after asking how many we wanted. When he returned with the lemons, we asked for straws. Instead of getting everything at once, the waiter brought the straws and threw them on our table. After some discussion, we decided to leave without ordering any food due to the poor treatment by the waiter. As we were leaving, the waiter chased us down, hit our car window, and told us not to come back. This was one of the worst experiences we've had at a restaurant, and we have never felt the need to leave a restaurant in such a way. Though we have quite dark skin, we noticed other families of color who seemed to be enjoying their meal, so thankfully it does not appear that race was a factor. Hopefully, others are not treated in the same way.

My friends and I came here for dinner. The decor was nothing special, but there was plenty of space and parking available. Even though it's a Malaysian/Thai restaurant, the servers speak Chinese. The food was delicious and affordable. The crispy Indian-style chicken was particularly excellent. They don't have an alcohol license, so you're allowed to bring your own bottles with no corkage fee. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, especially the authentic Malaysian dishes. However, the wait time for seating was quite long (around 30 minutes or more), and then another long wait to place an order. The customer service was also lacking, but if improved, this could be a great place to dine. My experience was on the weekend, so maybe it was just the wrong time to visit. Next time, I may just order takeout and enjoy my meal at home to avoid the long waits.

For me thai means this restaurant (after bennies thai in the lower manhattan, which is now closed.) I usually bring my friends or family here. everyone likes here the authentic Thai taste of the dishes. not a chic restaurant, but still a very good ambiente for families to have a good thai for lunch or dinner. recommended for everyone here in n brunswick/ edison near the us 1, who want to enjoy some good Thai cuisine. I love their red and green thai curry with rice. cheap it is ok. not cheap.

This restaurant has really gone downhill. I came here before covid and it was great. Today the service was non-existent and they were messing up a lot of tables orders and giving people the incorrect food. We ordered the milk tea. The woman taking the orders rushed everyone to give their orders at all tables then went away. They delivered us a Thai hot tea (which isn't even on the menu). I had said no we wanted the Malaysian milk tea. And I guess the woman expected me to be stupid because she tried convincing me that the Thai milk tea was the same as the Malaysian milk tea even though I have ordered it there before. Really stubborn. We let it go and just kept the incorrect tea so we could still get our food and not worry about it. The 2 curries came out and the third person was still waiting for their meal. The rest of the table ate for 10 minutes until we called a waiter over and asked where the food was. My chicken and potato curry had a good flavor but was extremely dry like the chicken was cooked for too long. They delivered to us an extra rice which we didn't order and charged us for it. They delivered my meal to the table next to us until I called them over saying it was mine. The other table told the waiter they didn't order it. Overall, the service was extremely bad and unorganized. I will not be back. I'm sad this place is not as good as before covid. I guess maybe the old owners sold it.

I recently visited Penang twice in the past month after hearing great things from friends. The restaurant has a small parking lot in front and plenty of seating inside. The interior is quite nice and we were seated at a booth both times. During my most recent visit, I ordered the pad see ew with beef, my friend ordered the drunken noodles, and another friend got the spicy Thai chicken rice. The pad see ew and drunken noodles looked similar, but both dishes were delicious. While my beef was a bit dry, I enjoyed the thick noodles and well-seasoned meal. My friend's chicken and rice dish had a unique presentation, with cold chicken and a bowl of white rice, but she still enjoyed it after removing the chicken skin. The Thai chicken reminded me of Hainanese Chicken and looked appetizing. Additionally, she had the option to choose white or dark meat for the chicken, with a small extra charge for dark meat. Our only slight issue was with the waiter, who joked around with us. Despite some confusion with ordering Thai iced coffee, we found the prices to be very reasonable, making Penang one of the best-priced Thai restaurants in the area. I plan on returning to Penang soon.

If you are familiar with South Asian cuisine, you will be extremely disappointed by this restaurant. My partner and I recently dined here for an early dinner on a weekday, and we left feeling let down. The restaurant was not busy, with only 3-5 tables occupied. We ordered spring rolls, fried noodles, and a potato/chicken curry. Surprisingly, they did not bring water to our table when we were seated or took our order. When I requested tap water with ice, I was given very few ice cubes that quickly melted away. The fried noodle dish arrived before the appetizer, and lacked flavor. The curry dish had dry and flavorless white meat, mushy potatoes, and a taste that resembled cheap curry cubes from a supermarket. The spring rolls were also disappointing, with a mushy filling. When we complained about the curry, the staff did not acknowledge our concerns. The prices were not cheap, totaling $39 before tip. We were given a menu with a sticker indicating price changes, and a QR code for an updated menu, but had to download a PDF to view it. I would not mind paying $40 for a meal if the quality of the food matched the price.

I am not sure what has happened to this place. We went on a Friday evening party of 5 we got greeted and sat right away but then no one showed up for 1/2 hour we end up leaving the restaurant not a single person server came to us or cared for us. It's sad how bad the service has gone. This place has a good food but bad service.

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, my overall experience fell flat. My review for 2/5 stars come from 5/5 stars for the food and 1/5 stars for the service. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately. The resturant is casual cute. You could come here a little dressed up or in jeans, completely up to you. Shortly after being seated, a server came over and took our appetizer order. We got the roti telur immediately, which was incredible! The roti was soft and the curry was the perfect flavorful dipping sauce! This was where our experience started to go south. After we were done with our appetizers, someone different came by to take our main course orders. We also asked for waters at this point. Unfortunately, they forgot about us and we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food and water! The resturant was not busy at all and we frantically had to wave down a server when they announced that it was last call for the kitchen. We waited 15 more mins and the claypot pearl noodle and chilli chicken arrived. The chilli chicken was perfectly cripsy and the claypot pearl noodle was subtly flavorful and served piping hot. My boyfriends dish was not yet served, and we waited another 20 minutes before having to flag down another server for his chicken rendang. When it finally came, it was delicious and aromatic, but at this point, we were just upset about our experience and wanted to go home. I understand that mistakes happen, but the fact that we had to flag down three or four servers and that the mistake wasn't rectified within us mentioning it the first time was beyond dissapointing. I might try out one of their other locations, but unsure if I'll be back here.

Always a good food.. going there since so many years, always enjoyed.

When you have serious craving for Malaysian cuisine Penang is a good destination. Food is out of this world. Atmosphere is relax and everyone is warm and friendly!

I frequently visit Penang. Yesterday, I went there to celebrate my mother's birthday. I must say, they truly made her day special. The food was fantastic, as always, and the staff is exceptional. Penang is my top choice for dining out. Keep up the great work!
