Illegal Jacks was originally situated on Lothian Road and quickly became a beloved institution in Edinburgh before it unfortunately closed, not due to any fault of its own. I'm pleased to see it find a new home, which is even better suited for me. I have a personal connection to this place, as I contributed to the Kickstarter campaign to help bring Illegal Jacks back.
It's great to have jacks again. it is a bit more of the beaten track now but I have no doubt that it will do well. with the festival crowds, follow the new students in september and his dedicated cult, it will always be a steady stream of Burrito lovers who go to this fantastic tex-mex connection!
