In particular I have to shout out the desert which featured a sea buckthorn sorbet genius! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

He was so kind and attentive, and treated us like old friend... read more We were blown away by everything at Ducks restaurant! The host Daniel went above and beyond for us. He was so kind and attentive, and treated us like old friends. The service was wonderful we got to interact with several knowledgeable servers and sommeliers who really spent time with us to understand our likes/dislikes. Management even came over personally to introduce himself and check on us We thought that was so nice! Now the food… We were absolutely blown away!! We had the duck and the Sunday roast along with a few appetizers. Then for dessert we did the sticky toffee pudding which was heavenly!!! You need to get it!! This is the best meal we had during our entire 9 day Scotland trip! And finally, as if I needed more reason to love this place, they sent over some wine when they heard we were celebrating our recent engagement! A classy, incredibly special place and people!! We hope to come back again!! Thank you Daniel and team for your kindness and attention to detail!

The restaurant or bar were of... read more Lunch out with friends required somewhere relaxed with good food out of Edinburgh. Ducks Restaurant fitted the bill, so we booked. The restaurant or bar were offered, so we opted for the restaurant. Pleasant ambience indoors, but can see the courtyard seating would be lovely on a nicer day. Short menu of bar food and a la carte available, but the Sunday lunch of Roast beef called all of us. And it was well worth it. Tasty, tender, tasty beef with great accompaniments and a really lovely hot horseradish sauce. One of the best roast dinners I have had. Tasty range of puddings to wrap up. Rhubarb medley and chocolate sphere were both excellent, flavoursome and elegant too. Service attentive from a relatively young front of house team. You can see they are being trained properly. Malcolm Duck popped in to say hello and ask about our meal. It’s nice when restaurant owners do that. Overall a great experience and well worth the short trip to Aberlady.

I had room on my own and a job which was great...I admire s... read more I have been staying in Kilspindie House Hotel Ducks restaurant in and I have been an employee there. I had room on my own and a job which was great...I admire staff in there because I returned in with group of people for brunch and saw the same staff working in there...I sincerely think how faithful are to the organisation and was great to see them again.. it is great place to visit and stay in Ducks Inn because it has a golf place and meet quiet few golf players too at the time...I hope in the future I return again and hopefully they will do well on their business in the near future and future...wishing them all well and would recommend the place definitely.

An amazing inn that really is the place to stay, especially, if you are a golfer. It is centrally located along Scotland's Golf Coast. The staff here is top not... read more An amazing inn that really is the place to stay, especially, if you are a golfer. It is centrally located along Scotland's Golf Coast. The staff here is top notch in every way. The staff really go out of their way to help you feel like you are at home and make sure that your stay is a comfortable one. The front desk staff will do everything in their powers to make sure that your golfing trip is booked properly so all you have to do is show up to the course and enjoy. The restaurant here is top notch and some of the best food around the area. I highly recommend the hand cut chips. The Inn also has a full bar with a great selection of liquors and drinks. The bar is also where you can play bar stool putting. I stayed here for four days with some buddies while we were on our boys golfing vacation trip and will definitely be coming back.

The cheesecake was delicious and it was immediately obvious it was made in house. This is a very pleasant small hotel worth a visit.
