When I got home from work, Mein Papa was ready to go out and eat. He took me to 'A Touch of Italy Cafe, ' and it was my first time dining there. I decided to try the special of the day, the Rib Eye with Coleslaw and green beans. It turned out to be an absolutely amazing meal, cooked to perfection. The staff here is not very friendly unless you are one of the regulars. Regulars get told hi and welcome with brief conversation where new customers are ignored and left standing there for long periods of a time without being acknowledged. The layout of the restraunt also makes it difficult to move around to enter or leave. The service is also rather slow. The food was just okay View all feedback.
People are exceptional especially Crystal! Food is outstanding!
It was very good for the first time. I will return. There are more dishes I want to try.
It took 2 years of living in Slidell to try this gem and I hate that we waited so long. Do yourself a favor and go NOW! Can't wait to go back.
