Description

Bishop Mill in the Midlands had a disappointing experience with unavailable cold food and drinks. Wetherspoons was criticized for poor management and service, lacking apologies for mistakes. Another reviewer found the staff rude and disrespectful during their birthday celebration. Negative experiences, including cold food, dirty tables, and rowdy patrons, were mentioned by a third reviewer. However, some praised the clean location, reasonable prices, and good service. Others enjoyed the buzzing atmosphere, prompt service, and variety of dining options available. Overall, mixed reviews mention the potential of enjoying classic British dining or experiencing disrespectful service at Bishop Mill.

Very clean place, good food .Leffe beer 7 cheaper than in Liverpool. £5.08 a pint !! Very nice and huge wall depicting the local area..Outside left for smokers and RIGHT side for non smokers . Large screen TV ...Good if you want footie and high volume . We chose to eat outside when TV on.

Nice atmosphere and people. Good cocktails and typical Weatherspoon pub food at good prices.

When I exited toilet cubicle, there was 4 door supervisors waiting outside, and said they wanted to do a drug search on me. They checked everything on me, found nothing. However they confiscated an autism fidget toy on my keyring as they classed it as an offensive weapon. This pub is not autism/anxiety friendly. I Will NOT be going back there, and highly urge any other autistic people not to use this pub. Absolutely despicable the discrimination.

Food was decent but service was mediocre and some staff were rude. I believe the girls name was Amber, she was blonde, who had an attitude when I asked where the condiments were and asked for a new set of cutlery after mine had fallen on the floor. Wouldn’t come back.

Was here yesterday for my birthday and the service from the staff and bar manager was absolutely disgusting ….. they were rude disrespectful and very childish. Really spoilt a great atmosphere I would not recommend the service but is a beautiful location and nice bar.
