The (supposed) owner is quite grumpy, two young waitresses are kinder. May be ok for a quick unpretentious meal.

On arrival, it is a bit of a strange place in terms of... read more We arrived in Duino and this was the only restaurant open. The locals didn't seem to recommend it either. On arrival, it is a bit of a strange place in terms of decor but we instantly hit a rapport with the waiter, who was very good fun throughout. The food was delicious, beer was very good and so too the wine. I cannot believe how little the bill was either. Overall, excellent food and value for money. Don't listen to the locals and don't let the decor fool you!

The owner said that it is not their problem. The spagetti was not so delicious but we ate it because we were so hungry. After complaining they did not even say sorry. The waitresses were really Nice by the way, but this place is not for the tourists, they do not really care if you come back.
