Pleasant interior in it. The staff polite and helpful. Local (Saxon) food. I had the dish called 'Herren Rosti Pfanne '. Beautiful: pork, onion, paprika, mushroom, roast in frying pan (served in it). But the dessert wasn 't so good: apple strudel. It wasn 't fresh. We drank Einsiedler beer... excellent. But it isn 't local beer, rather Swiss. So this restaurant is ideal for meat eaters, beer is good, prices are correct. I recommend.
We were looking for somewhere to eat close to our accommodation and found this place. The service was unbelievably slow and the English translation of the menu uninspired. After waiting 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive we decided to eat elsewhere. A party on...the table next to us did not receive all of the meals they ordered. As we left we reused that we had been short changed.
Can not complain was super, fast nice operation and eat completely top! widely recommended!
Nice basement pub, good small pub dishes, and since the change of ownership, a diverse menu including international dishes. Also smoke-free since the change of ownership.
