The cocktails we... read more I made a reservation at Nobu based on my positive experience at the London location, and since it was my birthday, we decided to try Nobu Doha. The cocktails were excellent, but the edamame and pumpkin chips we ordered for starters were underwhelming. My spicy crab and my husband's wagyu steak were both disappointing, lacking flavor and presentation. The service was lacking, with a cold main course and a manager who did not check on our experience. Despite mentioning my birthday twice, we did not receive a birthday cake. The highlight of the meal was the sake, edamame, and cocktails. Overall, we felt that the meal was not worth the price we paid. We ended up going to the Hilton at the Pearl, where the staff turned my birthday night around.

Despite not typically being a fan of raw food, I found the dishes to be perfect for me. The Rock Shrimp was particularly delicious.

Nobu, located in a beautiful building on the waterfront, is renowned for its excellent food and never fails to impress. The staff are always friendly and recognise regular customer. Happy hour is great with selection tapas and signature cocktails. Nevertheless, hope the Friday brunch buffet line would start soon.
