Tremendous food, as usual, with uniquely balanced and delicious flavors. The food at Fruition has never disappointed. However, the automatic 20% surcharge on the bill, plus the waiter’s firm explanation making it clear to us that this does not include his tip, was rather off-putting and awkward. Really? Isn’t part of this his tip? At least half? It’s all rather strange and confusing. So, of course we left additional tip, but on top of the already high food prices it all seems a little ridiculous.
