This charming old pub has retained its lovely vintage character and offers affordable pints of beer. The staff is incredibly friendly. There is a green space just across from the pub, perfect for enjoying a drink outside. It's a delightful way to spend a hot day! View all feedback.

Sorry to say that the Cottage Pie I had here for lunch yesterday was disappointing. Bland and watery and most surprisingly not served with any vegetables. Would have at least expected a small portion of carrots or peas, but no, it was just presented on its own in a dish on an empty plate with a small jug of extra gravy. Popped in for a Sunday lunchtime drink. Lovely festive atmosphere. Beer was good. Pleasant back ground music.... Not too loud. Could have a conversation without shouting. Service good. Will come back.
The owners and staff at this restaurant were extremely rude and seemed to only care about making money. The beer was warm, the pints were short, and everything was served without a smile or a thank you.
Perfect for an overnight stop. A very pleasant small pub with rooms, excellent beer and what looked like good food (we didn't eat there (or anywhere) having had a large lunch). The room was clean and airy and the bathroom and shower were good. Very good place to stay at a reasonable price if breaking up a journey. Handy for Heathrow as well

Great little find. Stayed for two nights in the garden room. Spacious room, great hot powerful showers. We had a really warm welcome from staff and locals alike. Didn’t eat a meal at pub but did have some amazing chips as a snack. Couple of points: only two hangers in wardrobe. Complimentary breakfast could be ‘padded out’ a bit more. Maybe some yoghurts and biscuits…? Place is ideal for any concerts at Wembley. Denham station to Wembley was easy.
