Panera Bread - DELAFIELD
Panera Bread
Description
This restaurant offers tasty, clean-eating options but falls short on portion sizes and value. Customers note high prices for minimal servings, with sandwiches and soups often underfilled, leading to disappointment. Some orders arrived late or with quality issues like overcooked bagels and melted smoothies. Service experiences varied, with reports of unhelpful or irritable staff. However, management has shown responsiveness to concerns about portions. While the food itself is flavorful, inconsistent portions and pricing may leave diners feeling dissatisfied. Those prioritizing taste over quantity might enjoy it, but expect a premium cost for modest servings.

The portion sizes were disappointing; I'm not sure what the reasoning behind it is. It seems like the food is becoming increasingly scarce, whether it's on a bun, roll, or plate. It feels like a corporate decision to me. You're paying more but receiving less in return.
I ordered rapid pick up.I walked in after the time it saidI was fine waiting no big deal. But all 3 of my smoothies were essentially melted. The whip cream wasn't even a dolip of whip cream. My bagel was burnt. Like so burnt I couldn't even eat it ? it'd be fine if they didn't cost so much but I even tried to scrape the burnt part off the bagel thinking it would help it did not.
It's absurd to be so nitpicky about drink cups. I had to wait 15 minutes for my order, and even though there were 15 signs at the kiosk instructing me to go to the pickup counter for my drinks, they refused to give them to me because they couldn’t see all the orders.
This is an excellent Panera Bread. The food is very good and the staff are considerate, professional, and efficient. It is well managed.
