Okunakayoshi Shamokenshin Soba 1000 yen The meat of the duck is tender, easily separated from the bone. The kenchin is also full of ingredients, and the soba is delicious. It was very warm. The side konjac is also refreshing and delicious. I am a light eater, so I feel about 80% full. It might be a bit unsatisfactory for those who eat a lot. However, there are also set meal menus and a la carte menus, so you can choose according to your preference. The seating was a bit limited at the table seats, but there is a tatami room in the back and it seems there is also a second floor, so it seems quite spacious. The husband of the store? Or the wife? They are both kind and very friendly, courteously guiding and assisting. I would like to go back again.
Visited on 20210614, this is a convenient store with the closest parking lot to the Fudōnotaki waterfall. The parking fee is 500 yen, but they give you a 500 yen ticket that can be used for purchases or meals over 1500 yen, making it essentially free. From this store, you can cross the Takimi Bridge, climb up the left bank of the river, pay 300 yen for the waterfall entrance ticket, pass through the tunnel, and see the Fudōnotaki waterfall right in front of you. You can also take an elevator to the upper observation deck. After coming down and crossing the suspension bridge, you will come out to the parking lot of this store when you go down the right bank of the river. It took about 30 minutes to leisurely walk back for about 1 kilometer. I had the grilled ayu set meal and zaru udon at this store. Even the ayu alone was delicious at 400 yen. At the Michi no Eki around here, it was also priced at 400 yen per fish.
This restaurant has a parking lot close to a waterfall. The food was delicious, so please inquire with the restaurant about parking fees. Since we only dined in, we were not charged for parking during this visit.
