Both courses were cooked to order... read more We were not disappointed in the food at Ostler's Close, which lived up to its reputation. I had lamb and my husband had beef. Both courses were cooked to order and came with a super variety of fresh vegetables. Our desserts were amazing! The marmalade pudding was very tasty and my toasted meringue course was one of the best desserts I have had for a long time. The menu changes daily- there is not a large choice, but what Ostler's do is done very well. Our compliments to the chef. Many thanks. We will be back.

It is the standard against... read more It’s time I wrote a review for Ostlers Close. We’ve been clients since it opened and it is still cause to be overjoyed when we visit. It is the standard against which we judge others, here and In Europe and it is still “home” for us. The food, wine and service are consistently excellent and anyone seeking fine dining in this neck of the woods should visit Jimmy and Amanda for a stunning treat.
