Tejas - Cuero
Tejas
Description
Tucked on the main road near Port O'Connor, this charming, unassuming café serves hearty, homey breakfasts—massive tacos, fluffy homemade tortillas and standout huevos rancheros. Service is warm and fast, staff are notably accommodating, and portions are generous enough to share. Reasonably priced with plentiful salsa, it’s a favorite roadside stop for workers, travelers and anyone craving a satisfying, no-frills morning meal.

I wasn't there. I ordered and could not go in, so that this really nice lady I think her name is Kathy has brought it out. She was very sweet and accommodating. Thank you. I have the combo tape. It is enough for 2 people to share!
We were first visitors to this mom and pop hole in the wall restaurant and we're back. That was the best Carne Guisada I ever had.
I can't go wrong here. I am a fan of casual eggs and a fluffy tortilla, but these tortillas are homemade it tastes like and really hang on your stomach. I used to eat here on days where I had a lot of hard work to do. Reminds me of the family who also died.. Great place, I should find something on the menu that I like to sit in the house. Something not as a filling that has a good problem!
