I trust them with my gluten and dairy allergy. I have Celiac and never had a problem. I either get a bowl with a plain burger with lettuce and tomato or a lettuce wrap. Also get a plain hot dog in a bowl. French fries always cooked in a dedicated frier snd the BEST! On a side note, they serve peanuts and may not be the place to go with peanut allergy.

However, the food is average and not particularly memorable, and the prices are high. Because of this, I am unlikely to return as I do not want to spend that much money on mediocre food.

I ordered a burger for over £20 and waited in the shop for over 20 minutes, only to find out they had not called my number. The staff were joking around and talking in the kitchen while I sat there, wasting my time and money. People should not spend their hard-earned money at places like this that do not appreciate their customers.

After going to another Five Guys I was told why we had so many fries: 1 average fries is for 2 people and a big fries is for 3. Do not order 1 large fries for each one at the risk of finding you with a lot of excess This has not been specified in this restaurant and so we have paid too much fries.

The man at the register (on 22nd November at 7:00 pm) told me that the peanuts were for customers only, not for the general public. I have been a regular customer at this Croydon branch for the past year and a half, and I felt insulted by his comment. Before assuming someone is not a paying customer, it would be better to check with them first. This was a disrespectful attitude that I have never experienced at any other Five Guys location. This employee should be trained better. Because of this incident, I will have to think twice before returning to my favorite Five Guys restaurant.
