Usually, I am pleased with the shrimp/fish with okra. I have to express my opinion today of I am not pleased. The order was not seasoned and didn't taste as made to order. It seemed as if it was leftover. Also, there were fewer shrimp than usual. The hush puppies were overcooked, with a burnt taste. I'm sorry, but this was $13.48 that I feel was wasted today. The best boudin in this city. Mostly consistent in seasoning and flavor, although sometimes the mild has a bit more kick than expected bc it is usually very (almost too)mild. They aren't open on Sundays, and don't pull up on the driveway almost at closing time. They will turn you away after you've waited in line.
