O... read more The ambiance is charmingly rustic, embodying the essence of West Texas, with rough-cut wooden furnishings that perfectly fit the vibe of a small, sleepy town. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. She served us large cups of ice water and even offered refills. My wife ordered an impressively large burger that she struggled to finish. My son opted for what I believe was a patty melt, while I enjoyed the chicken fried steak sandwich, accompanied by a massive portion of French fries. As we were leaving, the family that owns Tater's came out from the kitchen to chat with my wife, and they genuinely expressed their gratitude for our visit. If you find yourself in Crowell, I highly recommend Tater's!
