Amazing discovery in Boston. Italian delicacy great flavours and superb atmosphere.Visiting the city for work I had the chance to visit this restaurant, what a great choice.Burrata was flawless, the lobster pasta with black calamari ink was spectacular. A ginger bread cake with pear to wrap it up was just perfect.
Service: great. Good vibe, sure, but not worth the hoopla. Pretentious Italian food. Expect small portions with a high price tag read: $28 for Rigatoni that has a weird taste to it and was far too al dente (they say it’s how it’s served in Italy, but I’ve been to Italy and it is not served this way). My boyfriend described it as the sole of a used shoe. Nonetheless, apps were good, but will not be back.Location is weird for the southie demographic. It is totally out of place. Not sure who decided on this. Would do great in the seaport.
We had a wonderfull birthday event . We ordered perfectly with plenty of appetizers and pastas for all. Guests have been talking about the food for days.
Fantastic food and cocktails! Everything at bar volpe is phenomenal especially the in house pasta. I’ve never had anything from Bar Volpe or it’s sister restaurant Fox and the Knife that I didn’t love. Highly recommend ordering lots of plates to share.Parking: You will have to find street parking. It’s near a T stop though so I recommend taking that if you can.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I booked a table for my daughter's birthday. We arrived and her name was on her menu..how sweet is that?!! Every bite of everything was scrumptious, but the gnocchi was OUTRAGEOUS! Max our server was outstanding, music and vibe perfect! GO HERE PEOPLE :
