This restaurant is incredibly disappointing. It took over thirty minutes for our food to arrive, and the staff's attitude was very unhelpful. It was extremely frustrating. View all feedback.
Upon entering this restaurant, I was immediately struck by its pleasant ambiance. The server was attentive and quick to take our order, which added to the positive experience. Unfortunately, the taste of the food we ordered was disappointing. The chicken was rubbery, and the rice cakes were tougher to chew than usual, making it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. The scallion pancakes were a highlight, though. I really think the chef should revisit their preparation of chicken, as it had a somewhat stale and rubbery texture. While the location, service, and atmosphere were commendable, the food fell short. Overall, I would give this restaurant 3 out of 5 stars.
Fresh and delicious! This place has everything you desire in Korean cuisine. They serve sides of kimchi, pickled daikon, and bean sprouts, along with miso soup that elevated the meal to the next level.
I ordered the yakisoba, and it came with miso soup! It was absolutely delicious, especially after my friends and I walked from Roadrunner to the restaurant on a Tuesday night during the winter storm. I really appreciated that they were open until 1 AM, as we were looking for something to warm us up, and this was the perfect spot! P.S.: I mentioned $10-20 because we all paid separately for our meals instead of splitting the bill equally.
Kayuga in Allston is my go-to for late-night Korean BBQ and hotpot. The meats are well-marbled and the portions generous. I love the fun, lively atmosphere, especially with friends. Plus, they’re open late — perfect for satisfying midnight Korean food cravings! Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
