A great place to take a quick break during a visit to Crieff. The spacious restaurant/café offers excellent coffee and a delicious homemade tart. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restroom facilities were clean and well-equipped. View all feedback.
Always so helpful in the center. many objects that entice them. cafe is reasonable and good. the center has a map plan.
My family met at Visitor centre today for lunch outside in the gazebo And I would like to thank staff for all their help and attention they could not do enough for us Food was very good and choices were great as we needed gluten free, vegetarian and childrens meals I would certainly recommend this restaurant
Love going here, my Christmases gave gone from the same look every year to a fresh look yearly. Each room round the central display is different I expecially like the victorian/edwardian decorations.
Excellent food. Good value and generous portions. Worth a stop if you are passing
The shop offers a nice mix of souvenirs, unique gifts, and local crafts. There's also the typical tourist fare, but it doesn’t dominate the experience. Inside the center, there’s a small museum and a glassblowing studio, though I’m unsure if they are still actively blowing glass, as we were mainly there to dine. The restrooms are conveniently located right next to the café area. The accessible toilet is spacious enough to maneuver, but a solo wheelchair user might find it challenging to turn around to exit, especially with the door itself. The café area is bright and roomy, making it easy to find a suitable spot; the tables are spaced well, allowing a wheelchair to fit underneath. There are also seating arrangements that cater better to families. To place an order, you queue up, where staff take your hot food order. Another person takes orders for hot beverages, and a third handles payment. Once you receive a number, you find a seat, and your food is brought to you. They offer a nice selection of homemade baked goods, canned juices, and fizzy drinks on tap. Due to Covid restrictions, it’s best to inquire about any current policies at the payment counter. I ordered a steak and haggis pie, while my friend chose the special driver’s burger. Portion sizes are generous, and the chips are thick-cut and delicious. The vegetables on the plate were fresh and colorful. The pie was crispy on the outside, with tender, well-cooked meat inside. My friend's burger looked amazing, topped with cheese, haggis, an egg, and accompanied by a side of whisky sauce. We both enjoyed our meals without any issues! We even treated ourselves to a small piece of sponge cake for dessert. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Visitor Center for a meal. The prices are reasonable, the quality is excellent, the portions are generous, and accessibility is well-considered.
