Riverview Kitchen offers a beautiful setting by the river for a family breakfast, with friendly staff and lovely hash browns and sausage. However, some diners were disappointed with overcooked, dry bacon. Despite its usual stellar reputation, one reviewer felt let down by a change in seating policy. Another diner with coeliac disease experienced multiple issues with cross-contamination despite being assured otherwise. While the food was delicious, the rushed atmosphere at peak times left some feeling stressed. However, the large portions and lovely view make it a must-visit spot in Durham for pancakes and excellent service.

This restaurant for lunch as it dog friendly, but so glad that we did. very friendly reception, at a beautiful flow. beautiful menu the Bao halls were amazing. very cheap and beautiful atmosphere.
Beautiful view, friendly staff, dog friendly and good prices. full english was pretty dirty, honest. very cheap ingredients. I would give it another one and try the pancakes.

If you are in search of a delicious meal, this is a great choice. I ordered the goat cheese sandwich and enjoyed it so much that I ended up ordering a second pot of tea.
I stopped by without a reservation and the restaurant was bustling. I was able to sit outside, which was nice. I received complimentary coffee and a large piece of delicious, moist carrot cake. The service was fast and friendly.
