Six months ago my husband and I were driving through Corryong and ended up staying at the Corryong Country Inn and dining at Riley’s Restaurant. It was a surprising find and the meals were beautiful!We went back there on the weekend and our jaws dropped. The new owners are doing a wonderful job! They have put a heap of effort in cleaning the grounds and gardens up and have updated the restaurant with a new colour scheme, table cloths, napkins etc. It was great to see the place modernised but still maintaining a country charm.We both had scotch fillets. They were cooked to perfection – same as last time. The sauces were lovely and creamy and full of flavour. The vegies were cooked spot on. We topped the meal off with a Heathcote Shiraz. The service was friendly and attentive; we didn’t have to ask for anything. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for country hospitality and a great steak.

We stayed at the Corryong Coun... read more We enjoyed a romantic dinner accompanied by a breathtaking sunset while celebrating our 5th anniversary during a weekend getaway. We stayed at the Corryong Country Inn and had a wonderful evening at Riley's restaurant. Our table, set by the window, offered a stunning view of the sunset. The service was warm and attentive, with our waitress recommending an excellent red wine to pair with our main courses. I opted for the perfectly cooked salmon crusted with dukkha, while Dave chose the rib eye with a rich creamy pepper sauce. We both had a refreshing salad with a delightful dressing, along with crispy chips. To end the night, we shared a delicious lime tart for dessert. We highly recommend dining at this restaurant for any special occasion.
