Eat double cheese bacon burger and thank me : It can be the best burger I've ever eat. There is free wifi and good music can come next to your table.
The 5 stars are more comparatively to the other ExtraBlatt in Köln, the one from Heumarkt, than standalone. This one though is: smaller but spaceier, more...
They don't even deserve a single star actually, but it doesn't work in this app. The food was just average, pretty standard for Germany. The service was...
We've been in the extra sheet last weeks. The breakfast buffet should be tested. Once there we have reported to the staff because of the reservation. They sent us to a corner. Actually very nice, but all too tight, so you could get the impression that you (to optimize sales) have increased the number of places. Less would be much better here. Especially when you come with a Formula 1 weighing (Roller), like a friend, the whole becomes a challenge. The tables were very small, perhaps suitable for an ice cream café, but too small for breakfast or food. 3 tables were assembled and these were already filled without breakfast. 3 card stands with 6-8 cards each, then 3 times 2 small cards stood on the tables, 3 stands and 3 sugar spreaders. So we folded everything together in a space-saving manner and put it in the corner. We were 5 people, with six, the cards would have been banned completely from the table. Sitting third on the bench was also difficult, because in the end there was also an armrest that took away valuable space. On the opposite side were 3 chairs. One of them could probably only be used with ideal dimensions. The distance from the side table was very narrow. We ordered our drinks and waited for the others. When we were complete, the first time we went to the buffet. The buffet, in my opinion, is unfavourable. The rolls, for example, stood on the counter, before tables with the other ingredients. With a body size of under 1.75cm there is still a free stretch. O juice and milk were also positioned on the counter. In the case of further clothing, care must be taken not to land the textiles in food. Incision was abundant, as well as quark, cheese, jams, nutella, butter, margarine, cereal, dairy,... The division of the buffet seemed somewhat unstructured. Also on the vault was a plate with tomato and mozzarella. However, the residues on the plate had little visual appeal. The question was also asked why the cheese was cut so small. Partially on pizza rolls size. Then there was some salad (tomate, cucumber, paprika, corn) which seemed fresh and crisp. Then a heat container with bacon, agitator and small frying balls. Behind it, again on the counter, a plate with mirror eggs. Senf and ketchup were provided in bowls with spoons. Salt and pepper stood in front of the warming tank. On a separate table there were still cheese and fruit, at least in residual form. First I tried the scrambled eggs and the frikadella. Both for my taste somewhat faded. But after seasoning would mean to slip out of the corner and min. Two people get up for it. Because there was neither salt nor pepper at the table. That might be a measure. The grain bun was quite soft and was difficult to cut with the knife. In my 2nd gear, which was again associated with movement and rotation of the table neighbors, a mirror egg also landed on my plate. This was already cold. And here too there was no salt and pepper. The salt and pepper in the place were missing again when I wanted to eat my tomato deco. And where we're on the plate right now. These are very small and with a bun already well full. You have to put the other ingredients under it. When each 2 plates take to the table it will quickly get tight on it again. There were also croissants, but they already looked relatively dry. And the optics also did not deceive as one of my fellow essers confirmed. The staff was friendly, but sometimes somewhat inattentive. And a little overwhelmed when paying separately. It also lacked change. The quality was OK, but it was too tight, too loud and too warm. I know much better locations for breakfast. The buffet costs 7.95 euros on working days. Beverage prices are at local level.
