The food is amazing, and the... read more This is our second visit to the Spread Eagle at Sawley. We loved it the first time, and it was just as fantastic this time around. The food is amazing, and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. I would recommend it to anyone!

When asked to fix this problem we was given mucky looks like it was a task to fix our food. We even got charged for 2 scoops of ice cream that we had cancelled absolute disgrace will never be returning. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

Had a great overnight stay at the Spread Eagle Inn at Sawley, after a lovely afternoon walk from the pub front door (leaflets are available at the bar) we check... read more Had a great overnight stay at the Spread Eagle Inn at Sawley, after a lovely afternoon walk from the pub front door (leaflets are available at the bar) we checked in about 4pm. We received a friendly welcome on arrival then we were directed to our room, the whole of the building was spotlessly clean, tidy and well maintained, looked as though it had had a recent refurb. Our room was the same, warm comfortable and very clean including the bathroom. The food in the restaurant was great both for dinner and breakfast, the staff were amazing and really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be returning.
