Superb Sunday lunch a very welcome escape on a stormy day. Top quality food, extensive menu €35 for 3 courses including coffee/tea fantastic reasonably priced wine list. Complimentary artisan bread basil butter, sparkling water brought to the table Portion sizes were generous and cooked to perfection with style, flare and ingenuity! The restaurant is very comfortable to witb plush green velour gilded fittings. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would highly recommend the fermented Stellenbosch chardonnay from South Africa.
Have been here 4 times, always lovely ambience and friendly staff. The food on every occasion has been excellent, really delicious well prepared. Look forward to another visit soon and would very strongly recommend this restaurant.
Fabulous meal…the attention to detail is so impressive. You’ll be in for a real treat; the decor is plush, the food is up there with the best and the wine was terrific and last but not by any means least…the staff were so attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.
I know I shared about AJLA before but we had a meal there recently and it’s improved even further. The decor is warm and welcoming. The staff were well trained and attentive. The menu, well, every dish we had was absolutely just right. Price was c €50 per head included a bottle of wine and a round of drinks plus a 4 course dinner. It is well worth a visit. It is not Asian food despite the hint of Asian in the name, the menu is contemporary, fish and beef/ steaks were sumptuous
Nice decor, lovely atmosphere. Menu was excellent. The third course of wine on the tasting menu was a strong smoky wine which was not to my liking and this was followed by another strong wine which was probably not a good idea. The cod which was the main dish was nice but definitely over done , a little salty also but the potato and sauce that accompanied it was super. Would recommend overall.
