On a busy Mother's Day, diners experienced widespread disappointment at the restaurant, citing long waits for food and drinks, with many orders arriving incorrect or cold. The service, despite the waitstaff’s evident effort, faltered due to mismanagement. Customers criticized the quality of the food, particularly the pizza, which some described as undercooked and greasy. While the ambiance and friendly staff were praised, numerous diners felt the new menu lacked freshness and flavor. A few positive experiences highlighted attentive service, yet overall, the establishment struggles with consistency, signaling a need for management reevaluation and menu revitalization.
We dined here because we had a Red Letter Day that we needed to use. We were ravenous so ate everything served but on reflection portion sizes just get smaller and smaller each time. The pasta dishes at £18 each are simply a rip off and they aren’t very tasty either! 4 of us had a starter and main each, we had 3 alcoholic drinks and 4 fizzy drinks and with our £49 off voucher the bill was still £100 to pay inc a £15 tip ridiculous! We had an issue with using the voucher code but Omar our server was patient wonderful (even when the Hubby wasn’t . He is a total credit to this restaurant and I hope they keep him. Do the servers get the tip. I hope so! In summary food is the gold star of average (or beige as the Hubby put it! It’ll be a long time before we return.
My girlfriend just got a Tastecard and I had just had good news about a new job we decided to try it out. Zizzi offer 2 for 1 on all their food courses so we booked a Sunday evening. Service was very friendly and efficient. Food was lovely, for starters I had a chicken dish and my girlfriend meatballs in a tomato sauce, both delicious. for main courses I had a pork dish and my girlfriend salmon risotto, again both well cooked and delicious. Well done Zizzi.
Great quick Friday lunch. Wonderful calamari and pasta. Chris was top notch! Wonderful service. Such a lovely experience.
Horrible, I ordered 4 pizzas, they arrived cold and the pizza called Pizza Italian Garden was completely raw and full of oil. Impossible to eat it. If you have to put Italian names on pizzas, try to have respect for a country that you will never be able to compete in terms of food for the next 300 years. Thank you never again!
Ideal for any meal. Nlce venue with a good varied menu. Look out for special offers they run from time to time they are excellent and there is no catch.
