Shipyard Café - Chickasaw

The best thing about the shrimp po boy is big shrimp no small gumbo shrimp here. But, the menu has a definite frozen, fast food feel. Not a lot of house made items available. Counter service is okay (though when it 's busy, they get a little confused on whose order is yours). Decent food at a good price, but nothing spectacular.

The staff is incredibly laid-back and the food is absolutely fantastic! I ordered takeout for dinner, and it was an excellent value at around $10 to $20 per person. I’d rate the food a perfect 5, the service a solid 5, and the atmosphere also a 5. I highly recommend trying the Beef Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and the Gyro Platter!

The food is excellent, the restaurant is clean, and the owner is very pleasant. I genuinely enjoy supporting this establishment due to the high quality of the food and the way they treat their customers.
