My nearly full drink was tossed when I went to the restroom. Which is a shame because it was pretty tasty despite the overly bubbly milk steaming. I've gotten the same bev twice here, and it's been inconsistent--2 very different drinks. The tossing of my bev probably will keep me from coming back. I know one of the baristas saw me looking for my drink, so it's interesting they just watched and didn't offer another. I would've asked for another had I not been in a rush to a coffee cupping. Barista Trainer and coffee educator here, so I can speak to milk steaming quality (not great--which is interesting bc I've seen them do much better when steaming for lattes. Au laits seem to trip them up and coffee quality (good! .
The oolong tea was fantastic, and the staff was polite and accommodating. I highly recommend this place!
I arrived at the restaurant early, craving a delicious old-fashioned donut. When I found out that they hadn't been delivered yet, I was disappointed. The barista noticed my expression and kindly offered me a day-old donut that was still just as delicious. This place is now my go-to spot for coffee before work.
