The home made scones, cakes and biscuits are a real treat in this lovely little cafe.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch I had quiche, coffee and a cake my friend had a sandwich and a coffee. The cafe is a lovely area with crayons, paper... read more I visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch I had quiche, coffee and a cake my friend had a sandwich and a coffee. The cafe is a lovely area with crayons, paper, playdough etc for children to play with. This is a community cafe social enterprise not private for profit cafe. The cakes are made on a Thursday in the cafe by members of the local community and the place depends upon volunteers. The food was very reasonably priced, far cheaper than a more usual cafe and I enjoyed the food. I will definitely be popping in again for a quick lunch I don't have to prepare. In addition there are lots of groups and free activities, especially for children. This place is a community resource and on that basis it's very much a five star facility.

The service, while... read more We revisited the restaurant today for the fourth or fifth time, and while the bread is still good, it doesn't seem as good as it used to be. The service, while provided by four lovely, polite, helpful, and friendly girls with good customer service skills, was now bordering on silly. Despite there being only four tables of customers, the service was painfully slow. It took 10-15 minutes to receive our drinks and food, with items being brought out one by one instead of all at once. Unfortunately, this experience has made us unsure if we will return in the future.

After a few minute... read more We went to monkey park today with my brother, Dad and my Dad's mother. We ordered our food first and then sat down and enjoyed the free wifi! After a few minutes, our drinks came and after a few more, our food came. All of it was absolutely divine and for a great price! Would definatly recommend.
