I've been to the Chef's Table on several occasions and it has never failed. There were 8 in our party this time and there were clean plates everywhere. It's always a nice experience, with great service and atmosphere. The cocktails are definitely worth a try too!! View all feedback.

We had an amazing meal at The Chef's Table with its creative menu. We decided to have lunch there because it was close to the old city in Chester.

We couldn't have spent a weekend in Chester without stopping by Chefs Table for lunch.
I went here for my partner's birthday meal and we were absolutely blown away with how incredible the experience was. We decided to go for their set lunch menu at a very reasonable £35 for two courses (bearing in mind a single main on the evening menu is £40 average), the staff were very pleasant and the sommelier was fantastic my partner and I love Romanian wine and it just so happened that so did he so we had excellent discussions across some of the best food I've ever eaten. I would highly recommend the iberico pork tasting for the main it was unbelievable to have such a variety of cuts and styles in one dish, 10/10. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Disappointed, second visit, first visit of a higher standard. This was a birthday treat, will not be returning, main meal poorly cooked, (pork over cooked, ribs uneatable) Dessert poor, rice pudding cold preserve did not work, should have been served hot. Would not recommend, for this price fell below expectation. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
