Casey's - Cheney
Casey's
Description
Part neighborhood hangout, part cautionary tale, this Cheney eatery charms with friendly, engaging counter staff and a welcoming vibe but struggles with inconsistent service. Customers report slow or inaccurate takeout—cold pizzas, sliding toppings, and waits far beyond quoted times—often tied to undertrained or unsupervised shifts. Management and scheduling lapses frustrate pickup orders and local teens. Tightening staffing and training could align the warm front-of-house personality with more reliable food and timing.

Feedback
The restaurant often lacks available items, and the delivery drivers display a level of arrogance that is off-putting. Not being able to deliver on a Saturday reflects poor business management in my opinion.
The women at the counter are always friendly and engaging, but not overly chatty, which strikes a nice balance. On one occasion, I had to wait about 30 minutes for a sub, but that was mostly due to the morning shift not keeping up with the stock. Overall, it’s a very welcoming place, even though I was only in the area for work.
Who schedules three new hires without a manager present?! They all seemed more interested in socializing than learning their jobs. The store manager needs to improve scheduling or actually be there to provide training.
Cant say Im impressed at all. Walked in with a friend both age 14 had a bag from a previous store with us, when asked to leave the bag we left it right next to the register. About 15 seconds into our shopping we were told to get our stuff and get out, complying immediately, at checkout felt as if we were interrogated and chastised. I hope this is taken seriously, and its understood that you get lots of business from our teen community.
