Vincent St - Cessnock
Vincent St
Description
In a recent exploration of a local restaurant, diners experienced a mix of highs and lows. While some appreciated the affordable meals in a cozy pub atmosphere, highlighted by a commendable vegan selection, others lamented the inconsistent service and food quality. Complaints included long wait times for cold dishes, rude reception staff, and overcooked meals. However, several patrons enjoyed their experiences, praising the warm ambiance and attentive service. Despite the divided opinions, the venue remains a popular choice, suggesting it may cater well to some audiences while leaving others wanting, particularly in its menu diversity and service consistency.

My friends and I are regulars here. It’s a nice atmosphere, the service is consistently good and it’s conveniently located. The food is good but not great and I believe it’s very expensive. This is a club, not fine dining. As a member, I receive a good discount but for non-members, it’s over-priced pub food. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Went for my Son's Birthday Food was lovely, service was excellent. Highly recommend Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Thai Beef Salad, Gnochi with Roast Pumpkin
The only thing I don't like seeing is young employed girls standing around, chatting about nothing. This gives off a negative look to the place. The food was nice. Was good to see the chef walking around and intermingling with the guests, even filling up the guests drinks. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Reasonably priced meals served in a cozy pub atmosphere with a decent selection of vegan options. My partner and I tried the Fried Cauliflower, Korean Bao Buns, and Mexican Loaded Fries, all of which were delicious.
