I am in C... read more I have eaten here may times over the last seven years, and the food and service have always been great. Then something happened a couple of years ago. I am in Celle maybe once or twice a year, and always have dinner in Sombrero one...evening of my trip. However, when I turned up in 2014, they were empty but didn’t have a table for one. I tried later that week, turning up at 18.00, when they open. No table. This was repeated on the next three trips to the town. Sometimes busy, sometimes empty but never a table for the lone visitor. I don’t know the reason but I suspect they don’t want one person sitting at table where they could serve two, or even four. Very poor customer relations. I seem not to be the only person who has noticed this.

The Sombrero is very in demand: reservation, also because of Corona, a must.

The tapas sampler is ideal for meat lovers dining with two people. You can try everything. Boris and his team create a great atmosphere every time and take great care of you.
