Friendly servic... read more We discovered Saloon 6 years ago when we visited Catania from Australia. We just went again in January and it was still as great as 6 years ago. Friendly service, excellent food, great price. When we were there there were ques out the door which is testimate to how good they are. Would highly recommend them.

It was a Sunday evening and the pub was full, we had to wait few minutes for a table being set free. The decor is very imaginative and well cared for, recalls one of those wild west saloon. After reviewing the extensive menu decided to eat a vegetarian piadina, but instead there were pizzas, entree and main course. Service a bit 'slow, had to wait more than half an hour before being served. Affordable accommodation and original environment, young and great looking pub. I spent quite a good evening. Highly recommended.

We tried to ask the staff when it will served during this period of time but apart from the lying the staff were the rudest I ever found in the world.

Neither of us speak any Sicilian/Italian which is a struggle in the majority of places that we 've been, but the waiter came over and was so helpful with the menu, he basically just translated the menu for us using his smartphone which was brilliant. Excellent Dinner, desert and drinks, the price is great! I would highly recommend this Saloon , we will be back again for sure!!
